Property and land information: Khata, Khesra, Jamabandi, mutation, registry, and other documents you upload for listings or service orders.
Location data: district, mauza, block, and GPS coordinates when required for ground verification or survey services.
Payment references: order IDs and transaction status from Razorpay. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
Communications: enquiries, support messages, and notification delivery logs (SMS/WhatsApp where enabled).
Usage data: pages visited, device type, and general analytics to improve the platform.

How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
Process property listings, admin verification, and public display of approved listings.
Fulfill service orders and assign qualified professionals (Advocates, Ameens, Surveyors, Registry Consultants).
Process payments and provide order status updates.
Send transactional notifications related to your account, listings, or orders.
Prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of the platform.
Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only as needed to operate the platform:

With professionals assigned to your service order, limited to what they need to complete the work.
With cloud storage and infrastructure providers (e.g. document hosting) under confidentiality obligations.
With payment processors (Razorpay) to complete transactions.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jamidaar’s website and services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law.
You must provide accurate and complete registration information, including a valid mobile number.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Platform Services

Jamidaar provides (1) a verified land marketplace where Owners and Agents may list properties after admin review, and (2) a land services marketplace where Customers may book verification, legal, survey, and related services with or without a listed property.

Reports, scores, and professional opinions available through Jamidaar are for informational purposes. They do not constitute legal, financial, or investment advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making land transactions.

Accounts

Accounts are created via mobile OTP verification unless otherwise specified.
Roles (Customer, Owner, Agent, and partner professionals) determine what features you may access.
You must keep your login credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorised access.

Listings & Verification

Owners and Agents may submit property listings and supporting documents for admin review.
“Verified by Jamidaar” and Trust Scores reflect our review process at the time of approval; they are not a guarantee of clear title, freedom from disputes, or future legal outcomes.
Jamidaar may approve, reject, request more documents, or remove listings at its discretion.

Service Orders

Service orders are created after you select a service, provide required information, and complete payment.
Turnaround times vary by service and are shown on the service catalog or order page.
Jamidaar assigns qualified professionals based on service type and availability.

Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed through Razorpay. An order is confirmed only after successful payment.
Refund and cancellation policies depend on service status and work already performed. Contact support with your order ID for assistance.

Prohibited Use

Submitting false, forged, or misleading documents or property information.
Harassing users, professionals, or Jamidaar staff.
Attempting to bypass security, scrape data without permission, or disrupt the platform.
Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual Property

Jamidaar’s name, logo, website design, and platform content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

The platform and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jamidaar shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, listings, or service reports. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to Jamidaar for the relevant order in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Darbhanga, Bihar, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Your continued use of Jamidaar after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
